Fall Wardrobe Recommendations, Edited

del - fall wardrobe

You know, if needed.

Seriously, what do they think happened to all of the fall clothes I already had?

  1. Ha ha. Plus, like I am going to buy THIRTY things! THRIFTY yes, but 30 no. And both of those two "speckled" sweaters can be found or altered from secondhand for maybe $5 max. I just can't look at slideshows like that anymore. I used to look at things just to "stay on top of trends" or whatever but now I don't even care. I guess that happens as a person ages? And/or becomes more solid in their own personal style statement?

    1. I am in the same boat. It just seems like so much crap manufactured to be able to talk about...crap. I get following shapes/hems/etc to keep current and so you don't look dated but I feel like you notice that kind of thing out in the world anyway. (Although I will always always always love floods.)

  4. HAHA, yes. Agree. I will thrift and alter some new goods since I lost some weight since last fall, hot glue gun last year's boots back together, good to go. :D Buuut fall doesn't start 'til November in Florida so I'll be in sundresses for as long as possible...

    1. I feel like fall doesn't really start until then in NYC either! At night it gets cooler but we're probably looking at 70 degree days for a while longer.

Hey there! Thanks for leaving a comment. Please don't apologize for writing a lot - I like long thoughtful comments so bring on the "wall o' text" if you wish and have no shame.

Short comments are, of course, also always welcome.

{comment moderation is ON to avoid the horrendous amounts of spam Blogger keeps letting through!}
