Kelly Cutrone's Leather-Free Line

A quickie!

Kelly Cutrone's line to not use leather!
{links to Styleite}

It’s inspired by women like Joan Jett, Cher, Katy Perry and Debbie Harry — Cutrone wants to use these “strong and iconic” women to make her customers feel empowered. The clothing is all priced between $30 and $300, with $77 as the mean price. In an attempt to appeal to socially conscious women, none of the garments will use leather.

Cue argument about how certain commonly-used fake leather materials are bad for the environment. {To see my thoughts on leather's toxicity and effects, you can read this. I know most synthetics are not perfect, either.}

I'm anxious to see what they come up with! In addition to discovering Andrew and the entertainment value of the show, the folks from People's Republic just keep on giving, don't they?!
